The NBA accredited and NAAC accredited engineering colleges claim that they provide quality education at a reasonable price. As we know that NBA and NAAC certification is provided to those engineering colleges which fulfils the quality standard of NBA and NAAC. The students who are interested to take admission in 2020 in an engineering college should verify that the college is NBA and NAAC accredited or not. 2. Competitive and qualified faculties: Most of the private engineering colleges claim that they have very good, competitive and qualified faculties. It may not be true. Some best private engineering colleges may have world-class infrastructure. In most of the private engineering colleges, we are teaching the old syllabus to the students and this syllabus is not fulfill the demand of industry. So, there is a need to revise and develop the curriculum as per the requirement of the industry. The private universities can revise their curriculum easily as compared to the private engineering college.

5. Lack of industry-institute interaction: Private engineering should develop a policy to interact with industry people frequently so that we can prepare our students as per the industry needs.

6. Lack of proper training of students: Each of the private engineering college is claiming that we are providing the best training to the students for their placement like technical ability, logical ability, qualitative and quantitative ability and the communication skills. Only some of the best private engineering colleges in India are providing the proper training and internship to their students to fulfill the gap of industry and academia and relatively their placement record is good.

7. Lack of proper placement activities: A huge number of private engineering colleges showing a large number of placement activities in their campuses and a lot of companies are coming to their campuses. But in actual practice, there is a very less placement effectively.

8. Lack of preference to the ordinary campus by recruiters: Most of the top recruiters do not give preferences to the private engineering colleges.
