Changes that we all do after the studying D. Pharm / Pharmacy:

· We are making a massive difference in the lives of individuals.

· We save lives by warning doctors of possible complications and blatant failures.

· For the endless people who can't afford or believe E.R.s and use walk-in clinics, pharmacists are the primary contact person into the healthcare system.

· Regular triage is done, histories are taken, and OTC drugs are prescribed, when appropriate, relying on physician visits as necessary.

· We regularly help doctors identify possible cost/compliance problems in seniors and uninsured patients by calling them and letting them know about less costly, therapeutically comparable medications.

· We help 'hospital shoppers' prevent health complications by advising their doctors against overuse or unsafe medication combinations.

· A pharmacist is always positive and does the task with dignity. Community is grateful for the knowledge and services we provide not only with regards to medicines but also in terms of emergency care and palliative management.

· We help prevent and manage substance abuse, especially in remote areas, where such facilities are not available.

· We make a difference in people's lives, and in our societies, we are a force for good. Given the challenges of health issues, out-of-sort patients and all the other stuff that could come our way, it's good to quit after our change feeling that we've exercised our trade and in other respects lived up to the Hippocratic Pledge that we always agreed to.

· Space doesn't allow all of the reasons I enjoy pharmacy practice to be listed. Those are just a few that come to mind and doesn't end here; there can be many more things a pharmacist can do for our society.
