Introduction:
Pharmacy is the science related to health and aware about all kind of diseases and medicine which are used for treatment of different type of ailments they are present in and around us as well as in our system can cure by using the things. Pharmacy deals with the preparation and dispensing of medicinal drugs. In Pharmacy, we need to study molecular drug structure with activity and their pharmacological action including their side effects and toxicity. Pharmacy is a vast field where many branches are related to the manufacturing in pharmaceutics, clinical research and the study about the medicinal constituents obtained from plants in pharmacognosy.
Pharmacy is one of the fields which grow enormously due to the pandemic of COVID-19. The export of hydroxychloroquine is taken place worldwide when all the activity is stopped due to pandemic. Still, theexport of medicines is continuing throughout this period; for this export and manufacturing, the new career option is to explore, and the job of a pharmacist is secured. So we can say that in this field, the recession never comes, and the chances of a jobless situation are minimum because the production of medicine never stops; we always take medicine for each treatment.
Eligibility:
After 10th is not eligible for this field because of it is a challenging task where maturity level should be there while 10th student are not this much level and unable to prepare this level and situation so they need to do 12th first then only be possible to do the course, so eligibility criteria for doing either Diploma in Pharmacy or Bachelor in Pharmacy with Minimum percentage in either PCM or PCB 50% with Science student only at all B Pharma Colleges in Greater Noida.
According to the Syllabus of PCI, when we take admission in Pharmacy, there is a requirement of full understanding of anatomy, physiology for a deep understanding of the pharmacological activity of drug and chemistry for the proper understanding of drug structure and their activity.
Career opportunity after D. Pharmacy
After done the course of Diploma in Pharmacy we have an opportunity in different field like as a Pharmacist in different places either in Hospital or Medical shop anywhere in India. It is a two year course of Pharmacy, after completing D. Pharmacy; we are eligible to take license by PCI and registered as a pharmacist. We can open our medical store. There are many Government vacancies available only for d. pharma and other career options like we are eligible for drug inspector, chemical/drug technician, pathological lab, hospital drug coordinator, and drug therapist.
Career opportunity after B.Pharmacy
It is a four year degree course available for 12th passed PCM/ PCB students. There are many career options after Bachelor in Pharmacy. The first we got license after registration in PCI then we can open a medical store and do work as a pharmacist. Many of Government vacancies are available for B. Pharmacy student as a pharmacist.
When we complete our degree course in pharma, we can go for research and development, formulation design, quality control, quality assurance, marketing, hospital pharmacy, clinical research, pharmaco-vigilance, and academics also and work as a supervisor in Pharmacy Industry all over India.

Here we study the course in Pharmacy after 12th whereas we can’t take admission in diploma pharmacy after 10th there is no proper understanding of Pharmacy due to improper knowledge and maturity level as well.
In India, the education system is slightly behind the education trends worldwide. Therefore, our students learn lots of things over and over again, beside so occasionally useless facts which have no practical relevance. Consequently, the curriculum requires updating for excellent erudition skills. Governments of India should take some reforms in the education system according to professional requirements as well as in consultation with academic bodies like UGC. In North India, the top Pharmacy colleges are located in Delhi NCR region. In Greater Noida, D pharmacy course is offered by a number colleges but IIMT college of Pharmacy is one of the best for academic proficiency as well as professional competency of its alumni. Most alumni of the college, are well placed in industry and quite a few of them work as community pharmacist in far flung areas of our country.
